Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Vitstrength.world uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. In Australia, information collected via cookies may be personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and is handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), including APP 1 (transparency) and APP 3 (collection notice).

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. We also use localStorage on your browser to remember your cookie consent choices. Similar technologies may include pixels or tags used by analytics or advertising partners if you consent to those categories.
3. How we obtain your consent (Australia & GDPR)
When you first visit the Site, a banner offers:
- Accept all — enables strictly necessary, analytics, and marketing cookies/technologies where applicable;
- Reject — only strictly necessary cookies/technologies remain active;
- Cookie settings — lets you toggle Analytics and Marketing separately. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled because the Site cannot function without them.
Under APP 3, we collect personal information obtained through non-essential cookies only where you have been notified and, for analytics/marketing, where you have provided meaningful consent through the banner. Under GDPR (where it applies), non-essential cookies rely on consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); you may withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies/localStorage or changing settings in the banner (clear site data to see the banner again).
4. Cookie categories
| Category | Purpose | Always on? | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, load balancing, storing consent choice, basic site operation | Yes | Session to 12 months |
| Analytics | Understanding visit counts, pages viewed, performance (aggregated where possible) | No — opt-in | Up to 24 months (provider-dependent) |
| Marketing | Measuring campaigns, remarketing (if tools are enabled) | No — opt-in | Up to 24 months (provider-dependent) |
5. AI-related technologies and cookies
Some analytics or advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure campaigns or site performance. Those tools can involve automated processing but do not provide personalised medical or legal advice on our Site. We do not use cookies to operate a live AI chatbot (none is offered at present). If we integrate AI features that store data in your browser, we will list them here and request consent where required under APP 3 and the GDPR.
6. Cookies and tools we use
| Name / tool | Category | Provider | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| td_cookie_consent (localStorage) | Strictly necessary | Vitstrength.world | Stores your consent preferences |
| Google Maps embed | Functional / third party | Google LLC | Loaded on Contact page; may set cookies when you interact with the map. See Google Privacy Policy. |
| Analytics tools (if enabled) | Analytics | To be listed when deployed | Only after you accept analytics cookies. We will update this table before activation. |
| Marketing tools (if enabled) | Marketing | To be listed when deployed | Only after you accept marketing cookies. |
We load icon fonts from a CDN (Phosphor Icons). That request may involve your IP address being processed by the CDN provider. We do not use that CDN to track you for advertising.
7. Third-party privacy policies
Third parties may process data under their own policies. Key links:
- Google: policies.google.com/privacy
8. Retention
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until you delete them. Consent records in localStorage remain until you clear site data for vitstrength.ddd.
9. How to manage cookies
- Use our banner: Cookie settings on any page (clear site data to reset the banner).
- Browser controls: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge allow you to block or delete cookies — see your browser’s help section.
- Mobile devices: check system and browser privacy settings.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working.
10. Overseas disclosure
Some third-party providers (e.g. Google) may process data outside Australia. Where APP 8 applies, we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas handling complies with the APPs or we rely on permitted exceptions. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
11. Your rights and complaints
You may request access to or correction of personal information collected via cookies, or complain about our handling. Contact us using the details in Section 1. If unresolved, you may contact the OAIC (www.oaic.gov.au). GDPR rights are described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove tools. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
